Woodland edit

New edit of me and Kyle riding Woodland. 95 degree heat is terrible motivation to ride. There's nothing even close to being epic in this video. Just a fun sesh.

I was bored a couple of weeks ago, so I called up Wyatt and Billy "Hsu" Nguyen to see if they wanted to go to the Dry Ridge skatepark. They were both down, but Hsu couldn't go, so Wyatt and I ended up going.

1. Wyatt Hoffman, backside 5-0- This is more like a berm than a quarter pipe. It's situated in the middle of this little snake run that goes around a six- or eight-foot bowl. Wyatt kept getting really close to falling in coming out of tricks off of this.

2. Wyatt, backside tailstall

Coming in caliente!

Summer's coming in full blast, with the temperatures supposed to be hitting the low-to-mid nineties this week, and today was a good day to hit up the park. There was a great session going down, involving Wyatt, Ty, and Zach. Check it.

1. Wyatt, pyramid ollie- The mood was pretty chill, and so was this pyramid ollie.

2 & 3. Ty, switch backside hip flip- These are pretty simple, but Ty makes them look pretty good, especially when you see them in person

4. Wyatt, nosegrind down the handledge- After what seemed like 500 tries, one pretty hard slam, and getting hit in the wrist by a stray board and subsequently having my hand instantly go numb, Wyatt finally managed to stick this nosegrind.

5. Seventies- I thought this would be a good picture to end on. Seventies, living the high life.

Yeah, update!

So it's finally starting to warm up and stop raining a little, and I finally made it out to the park to ride and take some photos.

1. Wyatt- smoking like a freight train

These are just a couple of pictures of Chico while we were hanging out at the Georgetown park back in early March.

One Life

These were from the OneLife concert at SCHS a few months ago. It was set up as a Senior Project for a couple of kids, as a fundraiser for a vocational school in Uganda, I think. The bands that played were all local high school bands: Sinister G, The Likeable Inbetween, and The Ben Lumen Band.

1. Nick Pennington and Anthony Tucker- Guitarists in the Ben Lumen Band

2. Nick Pennington- Playing an acoustic piece during the BLB set. I think he was playing a Jack Johnson song, but this was a long time ago and I could be wrong.

3. Likeable Inbetween- From left, guitarist/vocalist Matt Eddy; guitarist/vocalist/trumpeter Ryan Parker; keyboardist Cameron Webster.
Cameron is an ADHD kid on meth. He's completely crazy. He used to be in a gospel band called The City Limits, with a bunch of black guys.

Ollie's

1. Josh Kyle, mini to bank gap- According to him, the scariest part of this gap is jumping from the deck of the bowl into the mini. What a madman.

2. Josh Kyle, wallride whip- He hit this wall at 500 miles an hour. No joke.

3. Cody Gay, barspin- Cody got his barspins on lock, but he wasn't happy to stop just there. Shortly after this, he was trying 180 bars, and getting pretty close too.

4. Cody Gay, wallride- He's so smooth. I'm jealous
